We can not do it all alone\, so we need help getting ready for the winter. We need to reset and move fencing an so much more. We need to correct the water troughs and move things around prior to snow coming. There is a lot of clean up to be done\, Things that you can do! We also need help getting the new goat house in our back yard up and running! We need some help painting some new goat houses. There is some very heavy items that we need help with and some building that we can use your help with. \nIf you would like to help out at the farm please let us know! SUMMARY:Hard Start Crowd Funding
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our Crowd Funding event. We are raising monies to do fencing\, along with improvements to make the rescue better for the winter. We are raising $7500. The Fencing and costs of installing basic fencing is $4500. We are having to build 2 new shelter to hold more animals that come to us during the winter these cost $1500 each. \nIf we do reach our goal we hope of have a step 2 we still need to complete updates for the barn to host the animals that are at the rescue during the winter months. These months are especially hard on the animals at the rescue\, especially if we do not have proper sections available for them. The cost for this is $3000. \nWe will have all donation rewards at the Friday Farmers Market each week through September 31st 2023. If you will let us know we will have it prepared and ready for pick up. If need be we will mail your reward to you!\nThank you so much in supporting us here at J&J Second Chance Small Holdings!

DESCRIPTION:Did you know that before and after events we still do chores around the farm?\nWhen we do events we often do Morning Chores 1 1/2 to 2 hours\,\nThen we pack up and load up and that takes about 30min to 1 hour\,\nThen we drive to the event 1-2+ hours\,\nSet up takes between 30min to 2 hours\,\nThen we have our event for its timeline….\nTear down takes 30min to 2 hours\,\nDrive home 1-2+ hours\,\nThen we unload it takes 30min to 1 hour\,\nThen we do night chores of 1-2 hours.\nThis is why we need work days!!!!!\n\nThese workdays help us keep things up and the animals healthy.  There is so much to catch up on the farm every day that we have to work for many hours at the farm. \nToday we are working on reset of everything from the trailer to so much more. We can not do it all alone\, so we need help getting ready for the winter. We need to reset and move fencing an so much more. We need to correct the water troughs and move things around prior to snow coming. There is a lot of clean up to be done\, Things that you can do! We also need help getting the new goat house in our back yard up and running! We need some help painting some new goat houses. There is some very heavy items that we need help with and some building that we can use your help with. \nIf you would like to help out at the farm please let us know!
