Birds

We have many kinds of Birds! Ducks, Geese,
Chickens, and Game Birds.

We have two kinds of geese. White Emdem’s and Brown Chinese
They have lots of personality.
They make great guard dogs for the property.
We often call these guys the Farm Karen’s as they are always are telling me what I did wrong!

We have many kinds of chickens! 

Partly because we love the colors that they come in! Also did you know that some breeds are cold hardy? That different breeds lay different amounts of eggs in a year? Some lay as few as 100 and some times as many as 300 in a year!
